ARROW PLA2 is a pure, microbial phospholipase A2 with functionality for phospholipid hydrolysis. It can be used in a food applications, including for emulsions (sauces and dressings), baked goods (cakes and breads), and hydrolyzed lecithin production (Soy Lecithin & Proteinbean, sunflower, or rapeseed). PLA-2 is derived from plant based so its not from animal with Kosher and Halal certified alternative to phospholipase A2 derived from porcine pancreas. ARROW PLA 2 It is derived via fermentation from Streptomyces sp.
