POLYSILAZANE
HYBRID CONFORMAL COATINGS

Thin, hard hybrid barrier coatings designed for electronics requiring elevated thermal stability, chemical resistance and durable environmental protection.

Hard Thin Film Thermal Stability Chemical Resistance

Move beyond conventional organic protection.

Polysilazane hybrid coatings combine inorganic network formation with organic modification to create thin, adherent protective films for thermally and chemically demanding electronic environments.

Performance depends strongly on surface preparation, catalyst or moisture response, cure temperature, film thickness and substrate thermal limits. Qualify the exact formulation on the complete assembly.

Selection Answers

Is a polysilazane hybrid the same as a silicone coating?
No. Polysilazanes are reactive precursors capable of forming dense inorganic-rich networks; final properties depend on the hybrid design and cure route.
Can it cure at room temperature?
Some formulations may develop properties under ambient or moisture-assisted conditions, while others require elevated temperature. Confirm the exact grade requirements.
Can it be applied over every plastic?
No. Solvent resistance, stress cracking, adhesion and cure temperature must be checked on each polymer and complete assembly.
